Outlook Meeting Organizer

Each day we receive large amounts of emails, tasks and meeting requests to which we have to respond. Their content will be subject of upcoming meetings and tasks which are distributed to different employees for their execution.

In Outlook 2013 and Office 365 environment, Agitavit Outlook Meeting Organizer (OMO) helps you add these emails and tasks directly to meeting agenda, organize meeting and assign meeting action items as new Outlook task. OMO works both with keyboard & mouse and with touch technology (tablets). OMO is available in Office Store!

What OMO enables?

OMO enables easy meeting creation, preparation of meeting materials, task creation and overview of their execution. From email, task and appointment, the user can create meetings with agenda in Outlook calendar simply with »drag – drop«. Such meetings can automatically determine the participants and the necessary materials for the meeting. Through calendar out the same process can be used to create Outlook tasks and events as meeting action items.
 
OMO supports whole Lifecycle of Meetings and Tasks, connects the whole process in such a way that no task is overlooked. All meetings have agendas, appropriate materials ready to be addressed and meeting action items already assigned at the end of meeting.

User can:

  • mark or categorize received emails, tasks or appointments
  • create meetings,
  • add agenda to given meetings,
  • send meeting requests to other participants,
  • create tasks while in the meeting and emails directly from the agenda.

​Technology

„Apps for Office“ Agitavit Outlook Meeting Organizer is built on Microsoft's »Apps for Office« platform, utilizing standard web technologies like HTML5, XML, CSS3, JavaScript and REST APIs to enrich and extend functionalities provided by supported Office 2013 and 365 applications. Two main components of Agitavit OMO are the application's XML manifest file for Microsoft Exchange 2013 server (either local “on premises” or within Office 365) and a web server hosting the app's UI and business logic. For the system administrator, installation is quick and straightforward and can be easily done through Microsoft's Office store - the app's manifest file is automatically uploaded to the Exchange 2013 or Office 365 deployment and Agitavit OMO is ready for use. User experience is identical across all clients, be it an Office Outlook 2013 desktop application, Outlook web access (OWA) or through the Office 365 cloud website.
